I have just started my wieght lost program about a mo. ago at first i just altered my diet not wanting to do to much at one time and just quit. but now im doing real good as far as that conserned. I Eat very healthy 7 days a week and allow myself one cheat meal on Friday night. I find that week after week my cheat meal on friday becomes more and more healthy strange as it seems. In the last 2 weeks i have started to run on the tread mill starting at .5 miles and now up to 1.5 in 2 weeks time at first it was hard and my legs craped up something terriable but i did it every day but sunday and after doing my 1.5 miles today no more soreness at all so im happy about that. My biggest "?" is should i start lifting wieghts or just progress with what im currently doing incressing my distance and speed. Currently i am 5 11 and 211 pounds ( was 225 when i started :) So I look and feel better and im happy about my loss but i have a very strange way i carry my wieght. I am skinny all over except for my belly and cheast. my legs arms and butt have zero fat or muscle for that matter there just skinny. I would like to tone out and put on muscle but should i stay focused on cardio and reach a certain level of wieght loss prior to begining a lifting program or should I do cardio as well as a lifting program.
