Keep It Simple Stupid.........lots of new people in the weight room go from machien to machine doing excercises they don't need to be doing. Can't completly blam them the "trainers" told them too Some machines yes are nice, however, you loose alot of good gains by using the machines.

The simple basic excercises are still the best.......bench, squats, deads ,military presses, rows. Theres countless varations of all of them that can be hit at different angles etc. Machines ususally takes you a few mins to adjust the grip,whip it off, fix the seat, fix the weight, blah blah........get a dumbell or barbell no adjusting no nothing, its as easy as 1.2.3 or how ever many reps you like to do.

I see alot of people doing excercises they shouldn't be........if you can't do a parallel squat.......don't do lunges yet, or worse a hack squat machine. Learn to go parellel on squats, build a fondation then start doing some lunges. Keep it simple stupid do some squats, leg presses, and some ham curls or so. No use doing walking twisting medicine ball lunges if your a beginer.

for chest workouts....why do heavy flat bb bench then go to a hemmer strength bench and do the same thing, with the same bad form? Keep it simple stupid....do some bench, some incline with dbs and a fly movement or two and go home. And learn to bench right, we don't need the golden gate bridge in the weight room for boats to pass under.

back excercies Keep it simple stupid......doing crappy rows, then one arm db rows, then lat pull downs, then half pull ups, with 50lbs wraped around your waist is a waste of time. You don't need lat pull downs and pull ups......save yoru engery for somthing else, do pull ups 1st then some rows, focase on the strech and squeeze of the muscles, not your ego and the cool plates you get to put on the bar.

If you can't get in and out of the gym in 1 hour and a half.......then your not Keeping it simple stupid.....lay off the new generation machines you have to wait in line for......people had nice 6 pack doing cruches long before the abb machines..................so to close this post..........Lets just
