Hi Everyone. I was curious if its possible to lose 10 lbs by August 15? I know thats not very long but thats my goal. I do cardio and lift weights everyday. If there is anything I can do to make these pounds come off by then, please help me out! Thank you!

Filing out your profile would assist us greatly in helping you...for instance we don't know if you are a heavy set girl or a thin girl with a high metabolism this would greatly affect how quickly and easily ten pounds will come off.
Your diet needs to come before anything else, if you don't have a right diet then the time you spend in the gym, and on the treadmills will be a waste. Start drinking a lot more water, this will help rid your body of waste inside the digestive system as well as clense the whole body of the toxins that form as results of reactions. Make sure you take in a good balance of fat, carbs, and proteins, from legitament healthy sources. Then Lift weight to build lean muslce to take place of fat, and burn more calories. Then do cardio to burn calories at a higher rate. Hope some of this helps.

Thank you for the suggestion. I am a medium frame girl about 5"6 and 130 lbs but I would like to weigh 115. I'm not heavy set but my metabolism is kinda screwy from a past eating disorder. Right now I am drinking at least a gallon of water before 5 pm and then continuing with water when I get home from work. I will look at my diet and carefully monitor that since I am working out abotu 2 hours every day. I just want to lose this in 3 weeks! Anymore suggestions?

It's also good to remember that as you put on muscle and lose fat, you'll see noticeable changes in your appearance, but maybe not much change on the scale. How you look is most important, not how much you weigh. I've seen two women who weigh exactly the same look VERY different just because of different fitness levels.

I'd worry that trying to drop that much weight so quickly is shades of the eating disorder that you've (hopefully) left behind. It is possible to tone a little by then, and eating a clean diet will help you to look a little leaner. 5'6" and medium frame is underweight at 115. How about maintaining your current weight but losing a little fat that you replace with muscle. What's the big deal about August 15?

She's probably got a weddin or something fancysmancy...Kind of like what Mzakal said.....
Two twins both weigh 125 both want to become healthier....
twin #1- does a lot of cardio and restricts her diet to unhealthy levels....after 3 weeks steps on the scale and lost 15 lbs. Her Body fat ratio though has climbed two percent and she looks fatter than when she started.
twin#2- eats a healthy balanced diet, trains with weight, and does cardio on a low frequency basis....after 3 weeks she 7 lbs on the scale but, after testing body fat she realizes she actually put on 8 lbs of muscle...twin number two lowered her bf% and looks like a whole new person, while twin #1 has digressed and taken away from what she could have had.....
Hopefully you're catchin my drift...
