I have just joined FT and am going to embrace it with all I have but I have a few questions that I would like to ask.
After the death of my father when I was 14 I went from being very active and talented swimmer to not being able to do anything. As the years went by I got bigger and lazier.
Finally I got a job where I had to entertain kids and I went from a 40" waist to a 32. But I still felt I was the same size. After out growing that job I now sit behind my desk and do nothing again.
This time I am determined to change i am back up to a 42" waist and didn't notice this because I dont see myself the weight going back on. It took a group of kids to call me fat that I finally knew I was big again.
I suppose my question is do many people who loose weight stil feel that they are the same size? Or is this a bigger problem
When you start to gtake control of your lifestyle, measure yourself everywhere. After about 5-8 days, measure yopurself and look and see how your clothes are fitting. This gives you the real answer. Some people do feel they look the same and some people are the the other way, they lose 2 inches and think they have lost 5 inches. Everyone is different. Get back on track, eat healthy foods, exercise hard, and set a good example for yourself. Good Luck and welcome to freetrainers.
