hi shp, regarding your concern about increasing weight if leaving your workouts is a normal one... I guess it comes from your daily caloric intake... if you stop working out then your daily caloric intake should be less than the one you should receive while working out, thus, you will increase your weight... its that simple... you eat more than you would need while exercising, you gain weight
by cardio it means running, bycicle, swimming, etc... exercises that will help you burn fat and increase your heart rate.
Cardio comes from the word cardiovascular. So like stated above, any exercise that raises your HR is considered cardio.
Depending on your age will give you your maximum heart rate (HR).:big_smile:
