Are you saying you lost 8 lbs in one day?? If so, you didn't lose actual body fat, it is just a fluctuation in water weight.

People...it's water weight not actual fat loss. Also, that is not a healthy way to attempt weight loss. Proper diet and exersize is the key!

Yeah, that much weightloss that soon, is very unhealthy, and probably wont last. if your looking for long time results and actual fatloss, you better focus on the the typical 1-2 lbs a week.
