With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.
Don't quote me, but it sounds legitamate, your expending more energy so your body is going to want more fuel. Could be something else though. One thing's for sure, if you don't have an adequate diet, your workout's going to be lacking.

Heavy lifting definitely boosts your appetite....your body is expending extra calories during workouts and requires more calories afterward to repair muscles...
