I just changed my diet and I am trying to eat healthier. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies. I eat mostly low fat and non fat foods, and I dont eat much junk food. Although since I changed my diet I feel like I eat all day long. Is this alright as long as I stay within my desired calorie intake? Or should I try to just eat 3 meals a day with a small snack between meals? Does it mean something, that I am hungry all day long?

Hello,

You should try to be eating 6 - 8 small meals each day. Also be aware that there are good fats and your body does need them.

If you are exercising when you didn't that would probably be the reason that you feel hungry all day. Also you are probably eating less than you were, it takes a bit for your body to get used to that.

Make sure you are getting the correct amount of protein, fats and carbs.

Good luck

I am trying to follow the amounts that the nutrition planner lists on here but its difficult. I have never had a healthy diet because my mom doesnt like to cook. I am used to her wanting to go out and eat a lot. I dont know what is good. I get a lot of the vitamins I need, and I usually get pretty close to the amount of fat it lists, but it is hard for me to get enough protien in my diet. I dont know what to eat. Thanks for the help btw.

dont worry... alot of us have the same exact poblem.. mine if the opposite though im trying to add alot of weight .. my diet plans says that i should intake 3250 calories per day and 455 carbs! It's gonna be tough keepin up but I can do it.. all you got to do is make adjustments to your food and as for the protein go to gnc and get whey protein powders.. thatll give you plenty of protein :)

leepinlily...if you find it difficult to meat your caloric goals don't be afraid to pick up a whey protein and make you a few shakes through out the day to help you meet your daily intake. Mine gives 23 grams of Protein per scoop, with water. While they're not as good as regular food they can assist in getting you over the hump. Personally I like the Optimum Double Chocolate...it helps a lot when I get to craving chocolate, which is really my only vice.

Thanks, I actually got some vitamins and whey protien stuff. I hope it helps. Today has actually been better though because I wrote out a schedule of what I am going to eat and around what time I am going to eat it. So far so good...
