how much carbs should I be eating

hi there. I have just returned from backpacking in europe and have gained 15kgs.which I am finding it impossible to loose I now weight 65kgs.I have almost eliminated all carbs from my diet as much as I can I only eat fruit,vegetables, and protiens (meat,eggs,cheese) but im still not looseing any weight I run for 30 minutes every day and drink 8 glasses of water.should I be doing more exercise or eating more carbs because I havent lost even a kg in 2 weeks.please help!

But a few things you may want to consider. Are you eatting enough (whats your calorie intake per day typically like)? What kind of cardio are you doing? What about weight training, you doing any of that?Are you sure this weight you gained was body fat and not muscle? I mean it was backpacking across europe.

If you try to lose the weight by starving yourself its a losing battle (i'm not saying your doing that, just stating a fact). Your body will use your muscle for energy and slow down your metabolism. As for cardio, have you ever tried HIIT? Its the best for burning fat and you only need to do it for 20-30 minutes a day. Weight training should also be an important part of your workout too.

Without a profile its hard to say. There are lots of people here that can give you some great advice... I just tag along for fun and tell the info they told me (so I look smart :P).
