Hi everyone! Im Kat from Texas and I'm not really new to the excercise thing. I've recently lost 60lbs in the last 13 months. I started out with basic cardio twice a week and have gone up since there but now I'm having trouble upping my workouts and sticking to it. Thats just a little about myself.
Hi Kat, really well done. Weight loss isn't a one day program (which most people seem to forget). i respect your drive and courage.
As regards upping your work load and sticking to it, there are a few things you can do to aide you....
1. Intrinsic motivation (shift the goal post in the sense that you set new targets and let the target goal drive and inspire you to get your trainers laced up. i.e ' i want to run 20 miles in 5 days')
2. Reward system for meeting your target
3. acquire the services of a Personal Trainer (Just like we need a doctor for their medical expertise, a personal trainer will provide u with their know-how in exercise physiology)
