I'm Female 5'5 and 167lbs. My body fat is 34%. I've made some adjustments to my nutrition intake for the day:
Cal 1600
Protein 167g
Carbs 300g
Fat 27g

Does this look correct?

What are you doing for the weight lifting?
How much cardio are you doing?

OK, I am 5'5.5 at 163 with 28%. I used to be 198 with we won't go there with body fat. :)

Tracking my progress with a few upsets, I went from 170 @ 31.9%.

I wanted to let you know you are not alone. :)

I will help out along with several others. I just need to know a little more.

:) Melissa

Mandre,
I do cardio 3x a week for 30 mins to 90 mins depending on my time.I'm not doing weight lifting just the in home program from free trainers 3x a week and the 12 week ab. My first day is today but I've been doing cardio for a month now. The nutrition program seemed a little to high for me so I sat my own, I just want to mkae sure this is accurate for begining?

I just did the calculations.
What popped out at me is your carbs are too high.
According to your calorie intake it would only be
175 g of carbs.

This is what I would do. Clean up your diet and cycle your calories between 1600-1800 cals. If you drop it too low you have nowhere to go when the fat loss stops.

For your fats use EFA's primarily for your fat%.
Carbs-no starchy carbs like pasta or processed foods. Yeah I know they taste good. :)
Good carbs are fibrous greens, non bleached products like brown rice.
As for measuring progress we are all different. When I first started lifting weights my booty actually got bigger. ack. You will see in prior posts that it did shrink but I had to wait a couple of weeks. Philia explained what was happening.

I would take all over body measurements such as
Upper Bust
Bust
Lower Bust
smallest part of your waist
Belly button
Upper hips
Biggest part of your butt
Upper thigh on both legs
The portion above your knee
calves
biceps
forearm
neck
Take it the same day and time every week. In a months time you will really be pleased.

Anyone else have any input?

Take care and good luck.

:) Melissa
