With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.
I'm sticking through with my physical training here at the site. But I'm having a hard time keeping straight in the kitchen. I am by no means fat, but I want to lose that extra flab on my stomach so you can see more of my abs.
I've taken a good look at the nutrition tracker and it all seems so complicated because I don't measure how much I eat of whatever. I figure I'm going to go on all water diet and just eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Will that do fine?

There are plenty of posts regarding the cutting phase but of course you have to be willing to do the work. That means keeping track of what, when and how much you are eating. It's important to remember that what you are really after is a sustainable lifestyle, not a temporary fix.
