I'm currently 'recovering' from anorexia, though I haven't started gaining weight yet (I have about 25 pounds to gain)...before all this, I ran around 6 miles a day and I miss it a lot. Though I'm banned from cardio, I have started doing pilates once a week. I haven't done much in terms of regular exercise since about April...what's the best way for me to start cardio again? I don't mind the elliptical, though running outside is my ultimate goal. I was planning on doing 2 elliptical sessions a week (15 minutes each) until I gained 5 pounds, and then upping the frequency/duration per every 5 pounds gained...does that sound reasonable? ... also, what else can I be doing in terms of strength training? ... thanks for any help you all can give me!

Maybe going rambling would help - you'd be outdoors, but it wouldn't be too hard-paced. Also, it would strengthen your legs.
