From what I have read about you, you seem to know exactly what you are talking about. Whether it be about training or football. I was just wondering what you thought would be the best workout for senior in highschool who will be graduating soon to get in better shape for college sports, paticularly football. I have been working out for long time and been running for an even longer time, but after this last season my strength in core lifts has gotten itself to back where it was. please me

Thanks,
Respectfully yours,
Josh

Gatormade sure does know what he's talking about. I showed a program of his that I am using to a national record-holding powerlifter, and he called it "perfect."

Sure. It's actually outlined in a post titled "Give this plan a try" here in the powerlifting forum. I've seen good strength gains and have put on some lean mass in the 6 weeks I've been using it.

I appreciate the feedback. I cycle my training plans to stay fresh so don't stick with this one for too long. I'll hit the one you are talking about twice a year.

I feel a bit dense asking, but have to anyway. Can you explain it a bit more. The weight x 10 x 3. Is that 10 sets or 10 reps?

3 sets of 10 reps my friend. About 55-60% of your 1RM with 1 min between each set.
