I am a new member to the message board and was wondering how you can tell the difference between fat around the midsection and extended skin.
I lost a fair amount of weight (approx. 70 pounds) about 4 to 5 years ago. I've kept it off, but have kept a bit of a jiggly midsection around. I assumed it was unbelievably tough fat to get rid of, but after learning more and more about fitness and weight loss, I am starting to suspect it might be extended skin.
I'm just wondering what fat around the midsection might feel /look like compared to extended skin. My midsection seems overly soft and droopy which is why i'm suspecting it might be extended skin.
If I do have any extended skin, what is the best non-surgical procedures I can follow to help alleviate this condition.
Thanks for your time,
Hi
If your stomach is flabby and droopy, then you have excess skin from your weightloss..Unfortunatly,there arent any methods to get rid of it,except surgery.Once the skin stretches like that,it looses all elasticity and cannot be stretched back into shape through exercise and diet
