I dont understand what do put on my chart with the reps and the weight...can anyone help me out

You have to "feel" your way through the weights. Since you're a beginner, you need to experiment with weights you can handle with each recommended repetition. Remember, as the number of reps. go down, the amount of weights go up. By your 4th set, you should be working with heavier weights compared to your 1st.

Also, you should really be fighting to get those last couple reps on the higher sets. That's when you know you're working your muscles to the max.
