My workout schedule has changed this week. I workout at home with no equipment but have been given an exercise with a piece of equipment that you sort of rest your back on, hold on & lift your legs for your abs. How can I do this at home without the equipment. :( Can anyone suggest an alternative exercise or way I can achieve this? Also I've gone from having about 7 exercise which were all round fitness to 3 concentrating on abs. I know I'm on the abs workout however would like to continue the other exercises. I had to choose the abs workout because it was the only option for those who have no equipment at home. Really wanted an overall one or one for bums & legs. Am pleased with the results so far though. A bit limiting!
Thanks

try leg lifts maybe, which section of your abs are you looking to work out?

At home you can do squats, lunges, pushups, dips, chin ups,
leg raises perhaps buy some bands , you can even do biceps and triceps with those. Very inexpensive form of working out.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice - I've been doing the squats, lunges, dips, chin ups etc. at home however my new schedule has only given me the twisting sit ups, the exercise I described above & side leg raises on the floor. I'll aim to continue my previous workout as it's helped me so far & incorporate the twisted sit ups & leg raises but perhaps I'll miss out the other one.
thanks for the advice - generally want to be toned & didn't want to concentrate on the abs - my abs are quite decent :)

You might want to try that one that you described, if you have a staircase with a railing on both sides. That's the only thing I can think of now. Sorry I missed that.
