You should maintain the suggested 5-7 meals per day. This will aid in maintaining your current metabolism and won't cause your body to go into starvation mode.

As far as the quantity, that is a matter of nutrition (i.e. daily caloric intake including fats, protein and carbs). You probably won't be consuming the same amount of calories but you'll definitely need to eat often.

Good luck!

Also if you are trying to tone, you may want to keep your carbs light-- but you need them if you work out a lot. I tried the high protein-low carb diet and though I was gonna pass out. I only ate about 50-75 g carbs per day. I try to stay between 150-200g now. I feel much better and will never do that again.

thanx for the feed back guys
i have a couple of questions more :
-i keep reading "egg whites" all the time is it wrong to eat the whole egg if ur toning ??
-can i have one cheat day a week ,grab an ice cream or eat some pizza ?
-i work out in the morning but i dont eat breakfast before my work out so that my body would use the existing fat for fuel but i do take a spoon full of honey and maybe a peach for energy is that right or wrong ?

The only thing about eating the entire egg is that the yolk has all of the fat and the cholesterol in it. The egg white has about 3.5 g protein and no fat and about 1 carb. So, if it fits into your diet then you can eat the entire egg for a total of 6 g protein. It is perfectly fine to have a cheat day. If you eat before your cardio workout in the morning then you're not eating on an empty stomach, but if you're doing your weight routine in the morning then you probably do want eat something beforehand.
