My current goal is to gain muscle mass. I have been using the nutritional tracker and noticed my protiens are about half each day of what they should be....... I think 337grams..... I am 225 pounds. I am also taking creatine to help with muscle development. I would like to get the protiens up there but I just cant' seem to eat enough to get it done. Does this mean that i need to be consuming the protien shakes and creatine durring the day? Both types? Is there a suplement that does both? Anyone have further recommendations I appreciate it. Is one more important than the other?
Hi werre7stw, my opinion would be to take 2 or 3 protein shakes during the day in order to increase your daily protein intake... I would take one in the morning, one post workout, and then one pre bed.... concerning creatine, I would definitely use creatine on a muscle gaining phase... My opinion would be to take 1 teaspoon before and 1 teaspoon after your workout...
Now about brands, I would go with 100% Whey Protein of ON's, and for creatine I would buy the one from Prolab
