I recently heard that you should limit your cottage cheese intake. Why would this be? Is it because it is cheese? I try to eat it about 3-4 times a week. I eat the 2%milkfat and usually 1/2 cup serving. I thought this was a good protein source. I did a search but didn't find too much. Anyone have any insight?

Thanks, C

Cottage cheese is a good source of casein-type protein. I will usually snack on them during the day and sometimes before bedtime. There's nothing wrong with eating them so go right ahead...

Great, thanks for the quick response. I love cottage cheese and am glad it's a good source of protein.

Don't know why this message double posted.

Thanks again, C
