Because of it's caffeine content, do y'all think coffee can be considered a weight loss supplement to SOME degree? I'm not suggesting that coffee be used specifically for this purpose; I'm just wondering if it contains enough caffeine to be a substantial contributing factor?

Yeah i think so. It makes you more active which in turn makes you burn more calories. Allowing you to be more awake lets you do more things.

P.S. I just read in "Men's Fitness" mag that the catechin polyphenols (what ever the hell they are) in GREEN TEA are a good fat burner. They act as both an antioxidant and as a metabolism booster.
Who knows? Maybe there's something to it?
