I just signed up and it says that I should consume 1783 calories a day. I try to diet regularly and am a dancer, so I am very active, but 1783 seems like too much if I really want to lose some weight and keep muscle. Previously I have consumed 1200-1300 a day when dieting but I don't know if this is too little. I want to know what would be the best amount to lose weight and still maintain muscle. I'm about 5'3 and 130 lbs. Very muscular build. (any recommendations on protein and carb intake would be a help too) Thanks
