Lately I have been smoking a lot of weed, with a lot of random people I don't even know, and I have been getting sick more frequently. I am assuming that it is due to my poor life style of drinking little water, eating little food ( and when I eat food, its not healthy), taking no vitamins, little sleep, and no exercise.
Iv decided to change my lifestyle (no, not the weed smoking part). What are some things I can do to prevent getting sick. What can I do to help build up my immune system? Iv already changed how much I drink. I went from drinking maybe 4-5 glasses of something a day to 12-14+ glasses of water. I have been also combining water with these Emergen-C packets that gives you vitamins. Before, I would only eat dinner and maybe a few shitty snacks and ice cream. Its not that I'm watching my weight, its just I have no time for breakfast, and no money for lunch. Iv decided to start eating breakfast and making lunch to bring to school. That should also help my health, right? What are some easy things to make that are good? What are some good tasting fruits I could eat? Are things like Pb&J sandwiches healthy? Would running also help your immune system? I'm really lazy, but I plan to start running once I feel better. I'm also going to try and get 8 hours of sleep at the minimum every night. Iv always been prone to getting illnesses due to my poor eating, drinking etc habits. Now that I am sharing bongs, pipes, etc with lots of people I don't know, I'm assuming that it has only worsened my situation. Would these things I'm planning to do really make much of a difference, is there anything else I can start doing to boost my immune system even more (besides quit smoking)? |

It's so hard to know where to start here, isn't it?
Let's see, sharing a joint with total strangers and contracting the illnesses they have will certainly, eventually boost your immune system. Of course you will have to survive the illnesses and make the huge assumption that you will recover and be disease free. Of course, smoking pot is completely counterproductive to the healthy lifestyle you claim to want. Freetrainers and it's members take great pride in being a drug-free community, whether the drugs are steroids or any other controlled substance. The best advice anyone here can give you is quit smoking pot. -------------- Anni ******* In my head, I am out of my mind.... |

being physically fit is going to bolster your immune system. take a multi vitamin everyday.. glutamine is also known to help pump up the immune system, but i wouldnt recommend it unless you are following some sort of fitness plan. definately get in your 3 solid meals a day, and have healthy snacks in between.

anything else you did would be little to no help if you dont quit, so I wouldnt imagine it- I would just quit it. You have your own life to live, but why want to be healthier if you are just putting more poisions into your body? Just trying to make yourself feel better before you die sooner?
I have several family members who did weed. They worked out, lived "healthy" lives, ill very little, probably had great immune systems. Until my brother hit the age of 20, smoked weed for 4 years off and on. He didn't smoke cigarrettes mind you- just weed. Didnt live in a highly polluted area either. But now he has emphysma, and has to carry around a portable oxygen tank. Are you sure you want to have to do that in your near future? To have to stop 3-4 times while traveling up a SINGLE set of stairs because you don't have the breath to make it up in one trip? You really need to consider dropping it..... Everyone is a "that is them, it won't happen to me" until it does happen to them, and then they regret it. -------------- :Hard work equals great results!: |

I mean, I don't even understand what you want us to tell you...use common sense...
I am sure you heard it all before so why are you even asking it? don't smoke weed? exercise? don't eat junk food? exercise? sleep? don't drink alcohol? Take multivitamin Take Glutamine | |

Invest in a juicer, eliminate all carbs that are not comprised of whole grains (i.e. get rid of white bread, white rice, cookies and cakes... replace with whole wheat bread, brown rice and fruit). Eat all natural peanut butter instead of processed PB, meaning NO Skippy, Peter Pan, JIF etc. The only ingrediants should be peanuts and maybe salt.
Drink low fat or skim milk instead of whole milk. Eliminate smoking everything. If you're not gonna consider that, at least consider smoking from your own bong and keeping others' lips off it. |
