With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.
I have a question regarding body fat. I am almost 6-1 and weigh 205. After checking my waist it said i have 24% body fat, which would mean i am fat. But i play alot of sports and some people even say im too skinny "pinner." So im confused, is the body fat thing wrong cuz i sure dont think im much overweight. Instead, im trying to put on muscle mass.
what is your waist in inches? pesonally it has been pretty accurate for how simple it is.

Don't lose too much sleep over the various body fat calculators on the web. They are notoriously inaccurate. You can get checked by calipers at a gym or buy your own if you want. The most accurate way to determine BF% is an autopsy. I wouldn't recommend that though.

Really Charlie? Who'd a thunk all this time I wasn't worried about my BF% and drinking beer and junk...but it all comes down to that being one of the last things they do to ya...as well as many other things I'd rather not know about.
