By whose standard?

Lets be honest, unless you're QB, football is about speed and size on a sliding scale depending on the position.

If you're getting run over, you need to weigh more, ideally with muscle. But remember you have to also train for life after football.

--- Good advice because honestly I am considered smaller compared 2 the others who weigh 170-180 i'm currently working on gaining weight with whey powder and winter speed programs along with working out every day after school so i'm trying.

Very good. A word on protein - don't overdo it. Evidence isn't proven but theres a fair chance that too much protein is very bad for your liver.

If you want to put on weight purely for numbers, look at your biggest muscles first. Legs. So many guys have a massive upper body and get around on sticks.

I hear you, but you know the problem I have with most of you work out guys you always try to tell everyone that a certain formula works as far as workouts and diet. Look at me and my pics I eat whatever whenever no balanced or health diet I just hit it hard and as you can see the results are stunning.
