If you have surplus calories, you will gain weight, post-workout shake or not. You just have to make sure you are in a surplus. Try to avoid fats in your PW shake, this will slow down absorption, so skip the peanut butter. For post workout, you want to have as much simple sugars as possible, sugars that are high on the GI index. All I have in my PW shake is dextrose, maltodextrin and whey protein.
