I am thinking about starting to take Whey Protein. I wanted to know if there are any side effects? Also, has anybody had a bad experience with whey protein? Any replies are appreciated.

The only side effects would be gas. I've never had any bad experiences. Do a search on protein...lots of posts on this already.

like the others said, the only bad thing is that it can taste worse then vomit (yes some do)
Optimum 100% whey is great, the chocolate mint is the best, nitro-tech i tend to avoid b/c its way over priced and tastes like eating pure sugar. a good blended protein is Optimum Procomplex and ISS Pro M3
