I've been taking creatine for 6 weeks today. Should I take some time off from it? Or is it not necessary to go on and off of it? I've heard it from both sides. Also if there is a better way of cycling, can you please give suggestions. Also I take 5grams post workout. Is that the best time to take it? Or is there a better time? Thanks

I've heard both sides as well...even the manufacturer of my creatine supplement suggests cycling is not necessary. Although, it really doesn't hurt to cycle off for a week. I normally do not notice a difference when I cycle on and off (which I do...8 weeks on, 1 week off).

As far as the best time to take it, I think it's a matter of preference. I take mine after workout. Some take it before and after...a total of 5-10 grams per day.
