Welcome to ft, Raymond!

Cardiovascular exercises include swimming, running, biking, etc. These exercises help you burn calories by increasing your metabolic/heart rate. If you are trying to lose weight, these should be done at least 3x per week.

Good luck!

Even lifting weights can be considered cardio, but some peopel disagree. I beleive it is all based on your intensity.

Lifting weights is not considered cardiovascular because it is an anaerobic activity (the exercises are not sustained for more than a few minutes). However, you need a mixture of anaerobic and aerobic activities to succeed in bodybuilding.
