Hi my name is steve2 (Steve) and I'm starting the sixth week of my
program and I can not believe the progress I've made in such a short
time. I am really bad at the over training thing and this has sure
taught me a lesson. Thanks Free Trainers.

I feel that I have cut up more and started to add more muscle.
I also can lift more weight. I was well over trained and making
no gains at all. Now I feel like I have been refreshed and again
enjoy weight training. I had nagging aches and pain that have all
gone away. I was a dumb enough to fall into the trap of thinking
more is better

Steve2,

I'm on the 8 week split lean muscle mass program. My shoulders, triceps and biceps have definitely grown as well as my calves. My abs haven't seemed to tighten up that much. They probably are but it sure takes a long time and a lot of work. My overall strength has improved also. Forearms have also increased. My back has started to get the deeper v in the middle also.

Ft's program works!! Can't wait to see how I look at 6 months. Keep up the good work. Lift cool!!

No problem Steve!! Keep in touch and we'll chart our progress. How old are you and what do you do for work? I'm 41 and feel younger since lifting. (somewhat!) Keep up the work!!

Coolness I'm 46 and in the best shape of my life. I don't feel
any where near my years and don't look it either. I feel it is
because of an active life style. I used to be a liquor store
manager, but five years ago I was diagnosed with M.S. and had
to stop working. Wow do I ever miss work (haha). I do have all
my strength and like to work out like a teenager (with many years)
of experience). It would be neat to chart each others progress.
Keep lifting.

Thanks Steve. I don't look 41 either. I do feel it sometimes. Sorry to hear about the M.S. Sounds like you are doing well and I'm glad to hear it. I want to be independently wealthy someday. (right) You keep lifting too. I work as a maintenance man at an apt. complex; not exciting but not the worst job in the world either. I also live at the same place; the fitness center is a short walk and I'm there by 5:30-6:00 am 5 days/week. Feels good o see growth and feel stronger!! Stay cool!!

Coolness,

The M.S. is just a pain in the A** but I get along o.k. What sort
of gains have you made to date, and how far are you into the program?

I haven't gained much weight but have nice muscle gains in the calves, shoulders, biceps, triceps. Chest is starting to grow. I've been a member for 3 months and really love the program. I've wanted to lift for a while but never had access to a gym. Now I can lift free and FT's program sure helps. Good motivation. Of course we all want to be like Arnold!! :)

I take protein powder and will be taking creatine. I hope it will help me gain weight and grow a little faster. And eat, eat, eat!!! Good to hear from you. How long have you been lifting and how is your program coming along??

Coolness,

Gee I guess I was to slow typing I keep getting cut off!
My training is going well and my gains are comming from every
where. I have learned a lot in a few short weeks. I was a big
overtrainer!!!! Also more is not better. I was tired, sore, bored,
no gains, all signs of overtraining. This site is kind of like
having a personal trainer hounding you. It's great!!!!

Coolness,

I too take protein; about 270 gram a day combined. I am about
200lbs. and I find that I make good gains at this level. I
have also tried fat burners, cardio, and cut my carb level.
It allowed me to loose 40lbs. I went from 230 to 190, but I
put 10 good pounds back! I have tried creatine also and made really
good gains fast. You may put on 10lbs of water but it will leave
once you stop your cycle. I find it bloats me too.

Coolness,

I will try to master this server thing!!! Have you tried any
other programs from the free trainer site; arms, legs etc.?
Where do you live?

Steve
