so I heard that you should not weigh or measure one's self for one whole month. That it gives you more motivation to see how you do at the end of the month without the scale. Thoughts anyone?

I never heard that specifically but it certainly doesn't hurt to not worry what the scales say. How your pants fit is the best way to track progress. I don't see what it could hurt especially if you find yourself worrying about it.

Whatever shape you are in didn't happen overnight so you wont change it quickly either.
