what kind of exercising are you doing? and what kind of a meal plan are you on. If your looking to cut weight eating 5 small meals a day will keep your metabolism kicking through out the day. When you exercise... say if its working on a treadmill push yourself to work in intravals if you enjoy running sprint for a minute then go back and run for 5, doing this will challenge the body more exerting more calories.  of course the kinds of food your eating is also a very big factor cut back on starchy foods eat more fiber and protein.

Calories is really a big thing. The main way to lose weigt by calories is to cut down each down by 500 calories, and this way, you can continue to do what ever you are doing, and still lose wieght. Also Try HIIT, this has been shown to help people lose wieight faster. Or making your workouts longer. Hope this helps. :)

Your exercise is very less. You cannot loose weight unless you cut down on the calories intake.I tried 17 day diet. It gives good results.  Please try it if you wish.

Hello,
I am trying to lose twenty-six pounds this summer. I know that exercising is a major factor in losing weight, but diet is just as important. I would like some advice on the best meal plan to boost my metabolism and to lose those pounds.

eating 5 to 6 small meals as opposed to 3 large meals will keep you feeling fuller and keep your metabolism up. These small meals need to be limited more vegetables and whole grains and lean proteins.

Hello

I'm new to this site. I have always been fairly slim and fit, but I'm having trouble at the moment. I have a very busy job, get very tired and seem to always be eating junk food (cake, chocolate, biscuits and coffee), and not getting to my aerobics classes. I'm also recovering from injuries, two weak ankles and two bad hips, and struggling emotionally because my mother has dementia and I'm one of her carers, and I'm soon to be made redundant.  I have already put on weight (I can feel it).  I want to get back on track with my exercise, eating and energy. If i can stop reaching for the sweet food I know that will help.  I always plan not to eat it, but when I'm tired it happens. What can I do to stop?
