Is there any way to shrink or reduce a specific muscle? I am 18 and pretty thin, but for whatever reason the muscles on the side of my hips (tensor fasciae latae, I think) are disproportionately large. This wouldn't normally be a problem, except that it makes me look like I have really wide hips, and being thin the look is exaggerated even more. So I was wondering if there's any specific stretch, exercise, or whatever that might make these muscles get a little smaller.

Thanks!

number one: build up your other muscles to make them appear smaller

and number 2: that can be a problem area, even for very thin people...so It can be hard to be 100 percent sure that it's muscle

number 3: if it is muscle, then to reduce it, you either need to not use it OR an unconventional theory would be to OVERUSE it...creating a state of overtraining, which can also lead to atrophy.
