How can this site suggest so many calories. I am 5'4" 42 year old female. My weight is 157lbs and I would like to lose 20lbs. They suggest I eat around 2100 calories a day. Any other program out there known to man tells me to eat around 1200 calories to lose weight. This is a very big difference. Almost scary to start eating that much. Please advise. Thank you. Colette

STOP DON'T EAT ALL THAT!

The calorie program on the site is not working properly.
To properly figure out your calories do the following.
Take your weight and multiply by 15. The result would be the number of calories to maintain your present weight. To reduce drop to about 12 and try that for at least 2 weeks and see if it is working. If not, adjust, but don't go lower than 10.
