What are your thoughts on this. AND
How many weeks out should I start this diet before a competition? I am less than eight weeks away.

Hey I_sly,

just to make it clear, CKD diet is a state of ketosis which is maintained for roughly 5 days followed by a two day carb up period, then a rapid carb depletion workout.

I have found a sweet site to help you with calculating your CKD diet.. maybe you'll find it usefull.

Ketogenic dieting is not for everyone. I firmly believe those who do best on this type of diet have some level of insulin sensitivity. I also believe that folks who respond best to this diet have battled weight problems all their lives. Sure, bodybuilders have dieted this way to shed fat before a competition but never use it for extended periods of time.

Good Luck!

Thank you for the great info! I recently came across a bit of info on Cytodyne AAC. Does anyone know about this?
