Hi guys! I've been trying to add more calories during a bulking phase. I'm eating every 2-3 hours and I think my diet is pretty solid too. Sadly, I'm just barely at the 3000 calorie mark, and I'm 6'4 @ 185 lbs, so I need to start adding it on.

Any suggestions as to how I can progessively add on calories (about 250 every 2 weeks)? Here's my daily diet:

Breakfast: 5 egg whites/1 full egg, 2 slices whole wheat bread, banana, 1 scoop protein powder in milk. (cal = 755)

PreWO meal: 7 oz turkey breast, 2 slices whole wheat bread. (cal = 425)

PWO shake: 4 scoops prot powder in water (cal = 240)

PWO meal: 8 oz chicken breast, 2.5 oz noodles, green salad (cal = 500)

Dinner: 8 oz chicken breast, 3 oz noodles, 2 cups brocolli, bowl of frozen fruit w/milk over it. (cal = 950)

Bedtime Meal: 2 scoops protein powder in milk. (cal = 210)

GRAND TOTAL: Just barely above 3000 calories!

There's just got to be a way to add on more clean calories and I know if anyone can offer advice it'll be you guys! Please help...I'll buy you a porsche.

Thanks,
Justin

I would like my porsche in purple please....

easily to add to that you need more protien to add mass along with more calories so up your meat portions add couple of ounces of turkey eat 12 oz of chicken instead of 8 and where is a solid lunch i see a pre wo meal but i would hardly cal it a meal at 425 cals try hitting there first

Ok for Breakfast make it 2 Whole Eggs.

Your PWO Shake make it in Milk not Water and I hope your using Casein and not all Whey Powder.

You can add Dry Roasted Unsalted nuts in the mix and add some Natural Peanut Butter to some of that toatsed Bread.

As far as Protein goes you look like you have that cover but I hope your not wasting callories makeing all them shake from Whey as for Casein kicks ass on Whey for gains but Whey is great with a PWO.

All the above is clean as you need to raise something when adding calories and your protein is high so add some good fats.

I use a 50/50 mix even for PWO 50% WHEY 50% CASEIN and at time when money is looking nice I like to use a Milk Protien Isolate which is 80% Casein and 20% Whey but for PWO I still use the 50/50.

Oh yeah add some Avocado in the mix too this will totally boost your intake.

I like to make tacos and mix Salsa and Avocado together and put it in the tacos. I use them corn tortillas non hardened, just toss in Microwave for a bit and heat and eat.

Them Tortillas will add up some calories also plus get you some carbs.

Cottage Cheese add that stuff in too.

To be honest your really not limited in a bulk even a clean bulk the more you eat along with rest and lift the more you grow but it ain't going to be over night and if you want to be Arnold you need the juice other wise like most of us be happy with what you can achieve.

Nicely done guys, I think you're right, adding more healthy fats will help out.

However, I'm not familiar with Casein, what are its benefits over whey? I know its more slow burning (which is why I take whey with water post workout), but other than that, I haven't heard anything on it.

Thanks for your responses, guys!
