Hi!
I am 13 years old, 5ft 2inches and weigh 130lbs, I am also a size 5 in pants. I have no confiedence and a low selfesteem, if thats not the same thing. Swim suit season is coming up and most of my friends will be wearing their insy winsy bikinis and ill be wearing... well, my track pants(not in the water). I also have large thighs and fat knees. This being so, I am very uncomfortable wearing a skirt. I NEED HELP! I wanna lose 15lbs before it gets warm! (i live in canada, and no, we dont live in igloos and no, it dosent snow all the time here)
any help would be appreciated!
thanx!

I'd suggest running, keep your calories consistant, eat whole foods, stay away from the crap food. Look up HIIT, or run a tredmill/bycicle.

Burn some calories!

I'd rather have fat knees than my boney ones...if thats any constellation...for this reason I feel uncomfortable wearing anything above the knee..

no, i don't have access to a gym as of yet. but i do have a treadmill, weight bench, bicycle, etc.
fat knees, in my opinion, are knees that are flaaby just above the knee, and i can make my knees talk.
**Making my knees talk is when you take 2 parts of your knee and move them so they look like a mouth, talking:big_smile:
Thanks for the help guys!:):dumbbell:

Wow I wish I was a size 5; Either way if you feel uncomfortable about your size/weight then it's good that ur trying.
Was anyone else's nutrition plan slightly outrageous (over 1800 calories a day!!!!) I don't know if I can eat that much in a day.

Also how much water should I drink a day minimum?

i cant answer the calories question, but i'd suggest at least half of your body weight in ounces should be drunk a day.

if you read around here, you will figure out that not eating enough caloris will put your body in a survival stage where it will store fat for energy later because it is not getting enough energy when you eat. use the search to help further answer you question!

tcwray, I have worked in retail for 15 years. I had back and knee trouble for the longest time.

You need to strengthen your core as much as you can. Now I don't have any back pain and it is REALLY nice!!
