I don't know if this has been asked before but here it goes;

I told my friend I wanted to gain mass by drinking protein shakes but he told me not to because protein shakes are weight gainers. So my question is, if I drink lets say Whey Protein shakes, I'm not going to gain fat am I?

Every shake has different purpose...

They are weight gainer, 0 carbs, cassein, whey, post work out shake, ...

Plain food is better than shake though, you won't gain fat if you eat the right amont of protein (2.2gr/kg. - 1 gr per pound) and if you train.

You won't get anything if you just drink shakes... And if you want to had some muscle, you ll have to eat more carbs and yeah you will gain some fat, then you cut :)

whey is wut i drink it is good to drink after a workout but it wont make u gain
