With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.
How fast can I expect to loose inches? I have never kept up with inches before, only weight. Last week I measured my waist at 30.5 inches. This week 30 inches. One half inch in a week...is that good? Can I do better? Anybody out there kept up with inches before? I am doing a 12 week program that goes like this:
Day 1 Chest Triceps Shoulders Cardio: jog 2miles
Day 2 Legs and Abs Cardio: tennis
Day 3 Back Bicep Cardio: jog 2miles
Day 4 Rest
REPEAT 1-4
Can I realistically get my waist down to 26in (or 25) by the end of summer????

You are on track. And yes you will get the inches down and probably look really sculptured/toned.
