Again, I have to ask a question that will most likely have a lot of you just shaking their heads at me..... but I would like to know if I can include activities like dog training in my cardio program. I am always terribly crunched for time, and was just recently informed that my 5 mile dog walks don't really count as cardio, because my heart rate is most likely not between 60 and 80 percent. That made a lot of sense to me. We are training for Agility, and I end up running, tugging, playing fetch, chasing etc. for at least 15 minutes per dog per training session (2 pups). It is very intense, and I am usually drenched by the time we are done. Sooooo... do you guys think I could include that form of activity in my cario program?

That sounds like a GREAT way to enjoy cardio. From what you describe I would think that it does count as cardio.

Thanks Manny, I was so hoping someone would tell me it is cardio, because if it is not,I don't know what is, hahah. (Try running with my dogs for half an hour, they get very intense).
I see you also have doggies in your picture.... what a nice sight to see!
