Hey Everyone! My name is Just and I am new here! I am a little confused about Fat and calories???

Here is my daily report:

Calories 4,196 kcal 2,684 kcal
Carbohydrates 675.0 g 400.8 g
Proteins 270.0 g 57.8 g
Fats 51.3 g 98.1 g

It shows my daily calories as way under at 4,191, I ahbe only consumed 2,684. Yet my fat is way over my daily suggested limit! Which one should I follow? Grams oof fat, or calories?

Thanks,

Justin

You should post up what you eat in a day to get these totals.. it could be all the wrong things as your not anywhere near the amount of protien you need or carbs.. your diet probably needs a lot of tweaking.. I usually have problems with fat too but my weight doesn't really shift around too much so I don't need to worry about it... also what kind of goal is that.. a bulking type diet?

When I first actually looked at what my FT nutrition program said I should get and what I was actually getting, I had the same problem. Like fireloard said, you should probably put down everything you eat in writing, either here or in a journal, to see exactly where you are going wrong. I've changed some of the foods I eat or the amount and now am able to reach my goals or close to them just about everyday. Good luck to you. Additionally, you may find that the nutrition goals you have set may or may not get you to where you want to be. For instance, I'm trying to lose weight and although I lost a pleasing amount of weight on my FT program, I have since decreased my calories because I hit a plateau.
