Hi, I have had a really nasty bout of flu. I have lost about 6 pounds and I feel very low on energy. I weigh 63 kg, which is within normal range for my height of 5ft 8.

I am concerned about missing out on workouts, but I know my body needs to heal. What is the best strategy for me to follow to feel my best again?

Are there any food groups I should concentrate on eating while I recover?

Thanks for your help!

I would take extra Vitamin C+Zinc (assuming you take multivitamine already)as well as Fish Oil supplement to minimize muscle lose...

I would try to drink more water if possible....aim for a gallon or gallon and a half....

If you have a hard time eating....you may want to consider RMDs or other liquid meal replacements....

you should fill out your profile...it helps tailor our answers to you....
