I am wondering if there is such a thing as too much protein. The recommended protein here is over twice the recommended daily value.

I understand protein is necessary for the growth of muscles; however I just wanted to know if there are any cautions or concerns with a high protein diet.

thanks

Correct me if im wrong people but from what ive read so far , your body will only use a certain amount of protein at a time (I read 25-35 grams at a given time) and that your body doesnt store proteins so you gotta intake protein every 2-3 hours. Now if you eat more then your body needs, then the proteins not used, they turn into carbs , and if those carbs arent used then turns into fat.

Thats what Ive read , Im just a newbie so work with me :)

Your body can only take in about 25-30 grams of protien at a time. Small meals 5 or 6 times a day is a good idea when you want that high-pro glow.

The recommeded daily value is for the average couch potatoe person. When you work out you need more protein to stop your muscles from being used as energy, and to add lean muscle mass.
