Being overweight is a common trait these days and there is not enough help out there. Find out how you can shed those pounds and improve yourself from within.
One thing that helped me when I was losing a large amount of weight was, rather than setting a weight loss goal I set a goal of sticking to my plan and counted consecutive days of sticking to my plan. I made it through to two years straight without deviating one bit from my plan. If you have a good food plan (six small meals, whole foods, good fats, plenty of water avoid the simple carbs like the pledge) and workout routine you will lose the weight. Sticking to the plan is the real challenge.
I lost 190 pounds in 19 months and I only weighed in once per month. The real goal for me was to change the lifestyle choices that made me fat. I focused more on finding practical solutions to common dieting pitfalls and less on the scale.
However you lose the weight is also how you will keep it off. To maintain you weight loss you are going to have to have a character of making good choices. I am up some pounds from were I should be. I got off track a little bit over the summer. I am back on track with my eating and my working out and the weight is coming back off.
The real prize is that I take really good care of my body now and I enjoy an amazing quality of life. Losing more than 100 pounds is a marathon. One day you are going to wake up after doing everything right and you are still going to be fat. On that day keep going!!! Don’t give up because when you continue on one day you will wake up and you will be fit and trim.
Even though I am up a little bit from where I should be I am fit and trim. I can’t even put into words what it feels like to be so fit and healthy. You deserve to be healthy.
