i have recently started counting calories becuase i am trying to lose about 10 lbs. after two days... i notice that i am getting about 1200 a day... and i feel like i am eating plenty.. im never hungry.. but many say that 1200 is starvation... but i dont want to eat more if im not hungry... so i guess im wondering if anyone knows if it is bad to get only 1200 cals a day
everyone's calorie intake will vary. put up your profile and perhaps we can give you better feedback. it depends alot on your metabolism too. for example, if i eat more than 1500 cals / day (with exercise) i seem to gain weight. 1500 just happens to be the "magical" number with me. that's the beauty of individuality. you have to listen to your body and figure out what's right for you in some ways (not of course if that means eating fatty, unhealthy foods days upon days)...
