good question. it depends on your metabolism and your current goals. both are weight gainers but have different nutritional profiles. protein on both products is relatively the same but its the carbohydrate count that is a lot different, mammoth has a lot more carbs wheres mega mass has half the amount. in my opinion for gaining weight (muscle) mammoth is a superior product as well as more cost effective. i have bought 10lb of mammoth at buffmusclestuff.com for 44.99 Canadian which is an amazing price whereas I have seen 8 or 9lb of mega mass at gnc for 64.99 with gold card. let me know if you have any more questions.

I have question regarding GNC's Mega Mass. I have heard alot of different things about this product. I am about 5"11, 153 lbs. I could definately use an extra 10-15 pounds of muscle (not fat). According to what I have heard, it does indeed help put on muscle mass but more on the bulky side. Im looking for more lean and defined muscle, instead of just bulky muscle. Would this product, give me what im looking for? Any insight on protein shakes/weight gainers would be helpful. Thanks.
