Hi bb1fit--
You have given a lot of good advice through the message boards that I have read. One thread was posted by a guy who asked about cutting down after gaining for a time, and two of the moderators recommended that he contact you about diet and lifting. I'm about to finish the 12-week mass building phase here on ft, so I'm gonna cut down as well. All I know about this is to cut calories, and I think I'm supposed to do it by gradually decreasing carbs; is that true? Would you mind filling me in about the right diet for this? Also I'm confused about what training regimen goes with a cutting phase. Could you also take some time to type some info about that? I assume my bf% will be a factor; it will be measured on Thurs.(7/28).I am SO thankful that you're sharing your knowledge with us at ft; have a great day.

Now I am 194 lbs. and 20% body fat, the trainer at my gym calculated, I think, 158 lean pounds and 39 fat pounds. Is this enough information for you to know whether I should cut down or gain more weight? It would be awesome to hear from you about this man_of_steel. Thanks!

Man_of_steel--
If I were to cut and find a routine should I choose the "propressive gains" or "lean muscle routine". It would be great to hear your input; thanks!

I will definitely choose "lean muscle"--thanks. "Prgressive gains" is one of the available exercise routines, and by the description I wasn't able to figure out which one I should do. Thanks for your suggestion though. Now I know what to do.
