Hello everyone. I am new to the site and have a question. I have been working out for about a year now and want to tone up more and loose more weight. I have already lost about 40 pounds, but want more loss. What would be better: increasing the weight in my routine or increasing the cardio (I already do about 45 minutes 3-4 times a week). If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

From my experience, I always increase my cardio for weight loss. Continue to do your weight training, however. That is very important as well. I have found that doing a rotation of a lot of circuit training workouts (cardio with weights in one workout) really helps me lose weight when I want to.

Hopes this helps!
