I'm 5'8, 155 lbs and want to cut down to about 140 to get in shape for soccer. I run every other day and also do weight training 3x a week. If I keep doing this will I loose weight even tho I've only lost about 2lbs. in 2 weeks so far. Is there any way to speed up loosing more weight.

Losing 1lb a week is about how much you should lose. Not really any way to speed it up. I know one guy that puts on a garbage bag and a sweat suit when doing stair master, most of the weight he loses is water but since his temp. is a lot higher he does burn for calories. You could try it if you want but don't be surprised when some of the weight comes back because a lot of it will be water weight.

You could try weight training 4-5 times a week rather than 3.
