With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.
As I get older the fat seems to move over to the hip area.
I exercise 5 or 6 days per week and see no improvement
I don't eat over 1500 calories and I do weights 3 days per week as well as 300 min. of cardio per week.
My body seems to be in a halt state and I am only 29

How much do you weigh? It helps folks here to help you if you put a little info in your profile. You can't spot reduce. Fat goes where it wants to and comes off differently for everybody. Sounds like your exercise program is ok. You either need to eat more or less to lose fat. You may also have to change what and when you eat.

I have alot of muscle. I am about 17%body fat
I eat every 2-3 hours
I am a personal trainer and a nutrition and wellness specialist but I want to train for figure fitness competition but I need to get rid of the extra body fat.
My diet is very well balanced.
50%carbs
20%fat
30%protein
